Don't forget to bring your funk
It may not be a far travel (approximately 3.5 Mike's from my house), but our county fair is a big deal. It's the Midwest's largest youth fair. Long ago I was an exhibitor, and now all three of my children are. While I could go on and on about why it is so wonderful my main point in this is to talk about the importance of being active in your community. Because of my volunteering here I have become a person who people reach out to with questions, or to pass on how well their child has done. During this week I take a 'vacation' (I do more physical labor here than at work) and be sure to pack my favorite sunglasses (Maui Jim Nalani) and new specs (Woow Come On & Randolph Monroe). I prefer frames with some sort of coolness about them, so they usually are not a 'fade away style '. Yesterday while helping at a show table I had my new red Woow on and counted 43 people who stopped me to ask where I got them, so I replied Smoke Vision Care. In the past I have gained several patients because of frames I have worn to the fair, and I hope to continue.
