Lab Geeks and Sales Freaks

I just read the article Lab Geeks and Sales Freak, written by Tim Slapnicher and it made me question whether I was a lab geek or sales freak. When I started in the optical field I didn't work in the lab at all. I was clearly a sales freak. I loved working with patients, helping them look "fabulous" (my favorite word). I cringed at the thought of being stuck in the lab for longer than 5 minutes. Now I look back and can see how much I've changed. I've become a great combination of a lab geek and a sales freak. I work in the lab just as much as I work on the sales floor, and I can say I love doing both. Which one are you?
