What a Deal!

I was shopping one day for a gift. My first stop was a local clay studio. I always try to shop within my business district first to support my neighbors in retail. They also have paintings and wood pieces for sale by other local artists. Here is what I found and bought. Call me ignorant, stupid, idiotic or frivolous but I looked at these wood eyewear holders and said I'll take them all. I didn't care how much they were. They look cool, well made, hand made and they serve a purpose in my shop. That purchase made me feel good. Local money going back to local and supporting those that enjoy what they do. It is a great conversation piece for my customers. If I saw these in a catalog for the price I paid, I would not have purchased them. When I think about the cost and see these practical ornaments on my display everyday, I tell myself what a great buy it was.
