What separates you from the competition?

REM has a unique differentiation in that we're a family-owned business that's driven by the desire to make our customer's successful. Why are you a great company to work for?

REM is a great place to work because we truly care about our employees professional and personal growth. We're all a team - from operations and HR, to our accounting and marketing departments, and we share the same long-term goals, which allows us to work together effectively and foster an environment of open communication and creativity. We also believe that having fun at work is a must, so we've adopted "Fun Friday" events and other fun activities held throughout the year to create an exciting workplace atmosphere.

Which charities are you involved with and why?

Each year, REM supports a number of national and local charities and causes that are aligned with our core values. Most recently, we donated optical frames to MEND – a non-profit dedicated to eliminating poverty by providing basic human needs and a pathway to self-reliance, in addition to a fundraiser our company held to support the efforts of St. Jude Children's Hospital - a non-profit dedicated to finding advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. We're also long-time supporters of World Sight Day and the Children's Hunger Fund.
