Make Yesterday Jealous of Today!
Hello Optical Family! We are moving through 2019 like...fast! Whoa! Have you tackled some of our goals so far this year? There’s a saying that goes like this, “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but TODAY is a ‘gift’ that’s why we call it The Present 🎁!” I agree with this statement and live my life accordingly because of it. So I ask a question to everyone reading this, “Can you make ‘yesterday’ extremely jealous of today?” What can YOU do to make yesterday envious of today? What awesome thing can you do to make that a reality? How big do you think? Think BIGGER!!! Yeah, you gave good client service yesterday, but today we are going above and beyond with our client service! Today we are providing GREAT client service, and everyone will be treated like they have a bejeweled necklace around their necks that blinks and reads “Make ME Feel Important!” Yesterday is looking at today “sideways” all up in its face because it is wondering why are you treating TODAY so dang special?!?! I mean, let’s be real here, you see, the ONLY person you should try to be better than is the person you were ummm—yesterday!
As Opticians we are at a constant battle to be better in our beautiful craft each day. To get the respect we so rightfully earn each day! The baby of the 3 - O’s but the integral piece that brings the jigsaw 🧩 puzzle together to a complete picture in the Optical world. Most Opticians do not realize the true meaning they have in life, concerning others. You have a purpose in this world. Each day brings forth more opportunities to change a person’s life — optically! A word you share, a new pair of glasses, a kind deed you do, or even a simple smile can completely turn someone's day around and affect them in ways you will never know. Once you realize the power that you have to bring Optical Happiness in someone’s life daily by merely making yesterday jealous of today, that in turn will make you very happy and fulfilled. Remember with great service brings forth even GREATER sales.....
