Hello Optical Family, it’s that time a year again. I was listening to the song “Jingle Bells” and thought to myself mingle Sells too! I mean when we are mingling with people we are becoming familiar with each other, and people seem to warm up to you. This also goes with Optical sales and our interactions with people who come into our establishments. To thrive as a Superstar Optician, you have to mingle with your potential clients. Talk with them and then let them reciprocate their Optical his or her Story to you. Be present and have a great attitude with understanding and care. Listen to their concerns and assure your clients that their EyeCare needs are just as important to you as it is to them. According to the Dale Carnegie Foundation, technical knowledge of the products and services you’re providing is only about 15% of what is pleasing to a potential client. But your ability to mingle with people and manage yourself and others is a whopping 85% of what a potential client is often pleased with when they are making up their minds to purchase. So you can be an Optical Technical Greek, but the clients don’t care what you know until they know that you care. The masses expect so much more of Us! So with that said don’t forget to keep your people skills just as sharp as your technical skills. With your mingling skills, you can dazzle your clients with sincerity, professionalism, trustworthiness, self-assurance, and au courant with the latest styles both frames and lens developments in our industry.  Flex spending and second pair options are ALWAYS excellent ways to converse about. It’s the holidays, Christmas 🎄 time, a time to mingle and honestly get up close and personal with your client’s Optical business and lifestyle. 🎶Mingle Sells, mingle Sells, mingle all-the-way🎵Remember with Great service brings forth even greater sales....
