The American Optometric Association has designated September 14-20, 2014 as Paraoptometric Recognition Week. Now in its twelfth year, the recognition week is designed to honor paraoptometrics for their dedication to the patients they serve and to the profession of optometry.
We are off to a great start to celebrate Paraoptometric Recognition Week! Each day this week our wonderful staff will receive little surprises to express appreciation for the wonderful job they do as paraoptometrics.
Monday, September 15th we kicked off the week with a pancake breakfast. The staff enjoyed homemade pancakes, sausage links, fruit and juice. We also enjoyed the most wonderful, tastiest, most delicious APPLE SMOKED BACON.
Tuesday morning each staff member received a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a personal poem of appreciation. The office looks beautiful today with all the different arrangements.
Wednesday and Thursday we have more surprises planned. Friday we will end the celebration with a fun filled day at the Minnesota Optometric Association Fall Meeting and Banquet.
And thank you to all the hard working paraoptometrics that represent our profession daily!
