Hello Daily Optician members and optical family! Sorry to take last month off, but I’ve been buried in work getting ready for our Spring Sale – and what a success!! There is nothing like seeing your vision for a successful show become a reality, and this was truly a highlight in my optical career.
On Saturday, May 13, Peepers Optical invited frame rep Jason Martin to showcase the lines of Kio Yamato and O & X New York. Both lines are quite large, and showcase almost every type of frame, including: high quality Japanese Titanium frames, gorgeous acetate, and a vast assortment of colors and unique shapes. We knew there would be something for everyone, and we ordered a total of 21 frames for patients during the event!
Refreshments were provided during the event, including some adult beverages for those of legal age to drink. There were giveaways, clearance frames that simply needed to go, incredible lens packages, gift bags (everybody got something!) and not a single person walked away without making a purchase. In all, over 60 orders were placed that day, with even more having paid that day but coming back soon to have updated prescriptions.
The energy for the event was electric – open for 7 hours, and busy the entire time. This event was a great bonding experience for staff, including a new employee who started the day of the sale! She was key to keeping food and drinks stocked, organizing trays, and keeping us all sane by helping to random tasks.
Extra special thanks to everyone who helped out: Pasch Optical and local rep Bob Joseph, Essilor and regional rep Brooks Taylor, Jason Martin and the ENTIRE Kio Yamato Team back at HQ who helped out and supported us. Check out the Kio line and start planning your sale today!! Trust me, you’ll need more time than you think…
